A Barbie toothbrush that makes brushing a bit more fun

Colgate Barbie Battery Toothbrush for Children is a battery-powered toothbrush for children, decorated with Barbie artwork to make morning and evening brushing more appealing. It combines a small brush head sized for a child's mouth with a handle that moves the bristles for them, which helps with kids who are bored by a standard manual brush.

How it works

The handle holds a battery that powers the brush head, so a child only has to guide it around the teeth. The Barbie design is there to get them interested, and a brush they like is one they are more likely to use for the full two minutes.

Who it suits

  • Children who resist brushing and respond to a favourite character
  • Parents looking for an easy first step before a full electric brush
  • Kids who lose interest with a plain manual toothbrush
  • Gift or reward for a child who has started brushing well

Worth knowing before you buy: This is a battery toothbrush, not a replacement for an adult checking technique. Young children still need supervision, and the brush head should be replaced when the bristles start to splay.
