La Roche-Posay Lipikar Baume AP+M is a lipid-replenishing balm for very dry skin and skin prone to atopic eczema, suitable for babies, children and adults. In atopic skin, a weakened barrier lets Staphylococcus aureus bacteria settle and form a protective biofilm, which keeps the cycle of dryness, redness and itching going. Microrésyl helps prevent the first step of that biofilm, and Aqua Posae Filiformis, a biotechnological active grown in La Roche-Posay Thermal Spring Water, helps rebalance the skin's microbiome to reduce how often flare-ups return. Shea butter and rapeseed oil replenish lipids, and niacinamide soothes and supports the skin barrier. In a clinical study, 64% of participants felt less pain-like discomfort and 41% less intense itching.

The texture

A rich but velvety balm that spreads easily over large areas and absorbs without a greasy film, so you can dress straight after. It is fragrance-free and pleasant enough for daily use on the face and body.
