A calendula-infused oil traditionally used to soothe irritated skin

Puressentiel Bio Calendula Plant Oil is an organic oil in which calendula flowers are macerated in a sunflower oil base, a traditional preparation used to soothe skin that feels irritated, chapped or uncomfortable. It is often used on children’s skin and after sun exposure for its calming reputation.

The texture

A light oil with a golden tint that absorbs without a heavy after-feel.

Who it suits

  • Skin that feels irritated, chapped or reactive
  • After sun exposure or wind exposure
  • Children’s skin, used sparingly

Worth knowing before you buy: This is a soothing oil, not a treatment for a diagnosed skin condition; patch-test on very reactive skin before wider use.

How long the bottle lasts

Used as needed on small areas, a 50ml bottle lasts around two to three months.
