A face sunscreen that pairs sun protection with anti-ageing care

Thalgo Riviera Sun Age Protect SPF50 Melting Fluid is a very high protection SPF50 facial sunscreen from the Riviera Sun range, aimed at people who want sun exposure to age their skin as little as possible. The melting-fluid texture is built specifically for the face, so it sits comfortably under makeup rather than the heavier finish of a body sunscreen.

The texture

A fluid that melts into skin on application, leaving a smooth, non-greasy base that doesn't pill under makeup.

Who it suits

  • Daily face protection for anyone concerned about sun-related ageing
  • Combination to normal skin
  • Wearing under makeup on sunny days
  • Anyone whose regular moisturiser doesn't include SPF

Worth knowing before you buy: SPF50 needs reapplying through the day for real protection; a once-a-morning application won't carry full protection to the evening.
