Vitry Longcils Boncza Pro Expert mascara 12ml (0.41fl oz) is a caring mascara: it lengthens, thickens and adds volume and hold, but the formula is also doing something for the lashes themselves. It contains panthenol, which Vitry includes to help limit lash loss, and peptides (acetyl tetrapeptide-3, biotinoyl tripeptide-1) aimed at the hair follicle. The base is 90% naturally derived, in a generous 12 ml tube, and it is formulated to suit sensitive eyes and contact lens wearers.

A formula with 90% naturally derived ingredients

The wax structure is plant and mineral - carnauba wax, rice bran wax, synthetic beeswax, kaolin and silica - rather than the heavy synthetic film most volumising mascaras rely on. Into that Vitry puts panthenol to help limit lash loss and peptides to support the hair follicle, plus red clover flower extract. That is the actual reason to pick this over a cheaper tube: you are wearing colour and a conditioning treatment at the same time, which matters if you wear mascara every day of the week.

An intensified look, without the sting

On application it adds length and volume with hold, so lashes stay lifted rather than dropping by lunchtime.
