This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used and shared when you visit or make a purchase on https://frenchbeautyhub.com/ (hereinafter referred to as the “Site”).

PERSONAL INFORMATION COLLECTED

When you visit the Site, certain information about your device is automatically collected, including details about your web browser, IP address, time zone and cookies installed on your device. Additionally, when you browse the Site, we collect data about the specific pages or products you view, the websites or search terms that directed you to the Site, and information about your interaction with the Site. This automatically collected information is collectively referred to as “Device Information”.

We collect Device Information using different technologies:

– “Cookies”: the main cookies we use are listed below.

_session_id: unique session identifier, allows Shopify to store information related to your session (source, landing page, etc.). Persists for 30 minutes since the last visit.
_shopify_s and _shopify_y: used for internal statistics, recording the number of visits and calculating the number of visits per unique customer. Expire at midnight (depending on the visitor's location) the following day.
cart: unique identifier, persists for 2 weeks, stores information relating to your shopping cart.
_secure_session_id: unique session identifier used during checkout.
storefront_digest: unique identifier, used to determine whether the current visitor has access when the store is password-protected.

– “Log files”: these record Site activity, collecting data such as your IP address, the type of browser you are using, your Internet service provider, your referring and exit pages, and timestamps.

– “Web beacons”, “tags” and “pixels”: these electronic files record information about your navigation on the Site.

Additionally, when you purchase or attempt to purchase on the Site, we collect certain information about you, such as your name, billing address, shipping address, payment information, email address and telephone number. Payment card details are processed directly by our payment providers and are not stored by FrenchBeautyHub. This information is collectively referred to as “Order Information”.

When we mention “Personal Information” in this Privacy Policy, we are referring to both Device Information and Order Information.

LEGAL BASIS FOR PROCESSING

We process your Personal Information on the following legal bases under the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679:

Finally, we may also share your Personal Information to comply with applicable laws and regulations, to respond to a subpoena, search warrant or other lawful request for information we receive, or to otherwise protect our rights.

INTERNATIONAL TRANSFERS

Some of our service providers are located outside the European Economic Area. Where this is the case, transfers are governed by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or by an adequacy decision.

DATA RETENTION

We retain your Order Information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described above and to comply with our legal obligations, in particular accounting obligations (10 years under Belgian law). Marketing data is retained until you withdraw your consent.

YOUR RIGHTS

If you are a resident of the European Economic Area, you have the right to access the personal information we hold about you, and to request that it be corrected, updated, ported or deleted.
