An invisible shield for fragile skin exposed to water, saliva or harsh products
Ducray Dexyane Insulating Barrier Cream is a fragrance-free barrier cream for dry skin prone to irritation or atopic eczema, suitable for the whole family from birth. Rich in moisturising and nourishing ingredients such as shea butter, glycerin and beeswax, it helps repair and reinforce the skin barrier and reduces discomfort. It also forms an invisible, long-lasting protective film that shields the skin from daily aggressions and limits bacterial adhesion. Because it is a barrier cream, it has many uses: around the mouth of babies irritated by teething or a pacifier, on atopic skin before swimming in the sea or a pool, or on areas that touch products known to irritate you, such as cleaning products or nickel.
The texture
A rich but non-sticky cream that spreads easily on the face, body and hands. It leaves a thin, invisible film rather than a greasy layer.
Who it suits
- Babies and children with irritation around the mouth
- Atopic or eczema-prone skin before swimming
- Hands exposed to detergents, water or nickel
- Dry to very dry, reactive skin in all ages
Worth knowing before you buy: it contains mineral oil and beeswax, which help build the protective film. A barrier cream does not replace gloves when you handle aggressive products.
How long one tube lasts
Used two to three times a day on small areas, such as the mouth area or the hands, the 100ml tube lasts about one to two months.
