Bioderma Sensibio Defensive Serum is a soothing anti-ageing serum for sensitive and sensitised skin. Stress, pollution and temperature changes make fragile skin more reactive, and over time this shows as fine lines, dehydration and dullness. This fragrance-free serum works on both fronts. Hydrolyzed hyaluronic acid hydrates lastingly and plumps the skin, which softens the look of fine lines. An antioxidant complex of carnosine, red sage extract and vitamin E protects against daily aggressions, while palmitoyl tetrapeptide-10 and soothing plant sugars help calm reactivity and reinforce the skin barrier. It comforts the skin as soon as it is applied, and day after day the complexion looks smoother and more luminous. According to Bioderma, it can also be used before and after aesthetic procedures.

The texture

A fresh, light serum that spreads easily and absorbs in seconds, with no greasy or sticky finish. It layers well under moisturiser and sunscreen in the morning and under a richer cream at night. Skin feels calmer and more comfortable right after application, which makes it easy to stick with twice a day, even on days when your skin feels reactive.

Two to three drops morning and evening use roughly half a millilitre a day, so the 30ml bottle lasts about two months of twice-daily use.
