René Furterer Sublime Karité Hydrating Mask is a moisturising and smoothing mask made for dry hair that tangles and frizzes. From the first use it delivers intense hydration that lasts up to 72 hours, and it makes detangling far easier. Its formula is built around shea butter, rich in fatty acids that replenish the lipids of the hair fibre, and a ceramide technology that helps restore the protective barrier of the hair and reduce porosity. Ylang-ylang essential oil adds antioxidant care and boosts shine. The result is professionally hydrated hair that stays smooth, supple, shiny and free of frizz, without feeling weighed down.

The texture

A light, creamy mask that spreads easily through wet lengths and melts into the hair without a heavy coating. It rinses out cleanly and leaves hair soft to the touch. The floral scent opens on pink grapefruit, lily of the valley and pear, with a heart of white peach, orchid and jasmine and a base of white musk, sandalwood and amber.

How long one tube lasts

A walnut-sized amount is enough for medium-length hair. Used two to three times a week, the 100ml tube lasts around six to eight weeks, and makes a handy size for travel or a first try of the range. If your hair is long or very thick, you may need a little more product per use, so the larger 200ml tube can work out better value.

How to use

After shampooing, apply a walnut-sized amount to the lengths and ends of well-wrung, wet hair. Leave on for 2 to 5 minutes, detangle with a wide-tooth comb, then rinse thoroughly. Use two to three times a week, in place of your conditioner.
