pH 5.5 · Soap-free

A soap-free wash oil that cleans without stripping dry, sensitive skin

Sebamed Physio-Wash Oil is a soap-free cleansing oil for the shower, formulated at the skin's own pH of 5.5. Ordinary soap raises skin's pH and can leave it feeling tight and dry; this oil cleanses gently while helping the skin barrier hold on to its natural lipids, leaving skin feeling soft rather than stripped. It's designed for daily use on dry and sensitive skin, including on children.

The texture

A light oil that turns into a gentle lather with water and rinses off cleanly, leaving a soft, non-greasy after-feel.

Who it suits

  • Dry or sensitive skin that feels tight after ordinary soap
  • Daily showering without disrupting the skin's natural barrier
  • Families wanting one wash for adults and children
  • Anyone switching away from soap-based body washes

Worth knowing before you buy: Being oil-based, it can make the shower floor slippery, so rinse the tub or shower tray well after use.
