Weleda Advent calendar brings together 24 naturally derived products and accessories for face, body, hands, lips and hair, built around Weleda's signature plants: aloe vera, rosemary and arnica. The mix runs from serums and masks to a konjac sponge and a Furoshiki wrap, so the routine changes every day rather than repeating one texture. The box is botanically illustrated and the materials were chosen with a lower-waste Christmas in mind. Weleda calendars sell out early in Europe and are rarely stocked in the US at all.

What you open, day by day

The selection covers a real routine, not samples of one product: Skin Food Super Serum, a nourishing day cream, a repairing treatment, a cleansing oil-to-gel and an eye care product. Lip, hand and foot care follow, alongside a body wash, an aloe vera moisturising body lotion and a revitalising rosemary shampoo. Two masks are included too, the EXO BOOST Hydrobounce and the EXO BOOST Glow.

Accessories and the box itself

As the days pass the calendar also gives up an arnica massage oil, an arnica roller, a konjac sponge and a make-up remover mitt, plus a refillable orange blossom deodorant and a Furoshiki cloth. How to use

Follow the instructions for each product. Apply creams to the relevant areas and massage gently. Apply masks to clean skin, leave on for 15 minutes, then remove. Use cleansers and body washes on wet skin, then rinse off. Use lip care products as needed and hair care products after shampooing. Massage arnica oil into the targeted areas before or after exercise. Follow the frequency recommended for each product.
