By visiting our site and/or making a purchase, you participate in our “Service” and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions (“Terms of Service”). This includes the terms, conditions and policies mentioned herein and/or accessible via hyperlinks. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the Site, including, without limitation, visitors, vendors, customers, merchants, and contributors of content.
We encourage you to read these Terms of Service carefully before accessing the Site or using our Services. By accessing or using any part of the Site, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, you may not access the Site or use our Services.
Any new tools or features added to the store are also subject to these Terms of Service. You can review the most current version at any time on this page. We reserve the right to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates to our website. It is your responsibility to check this page regularly for changes. Your continued access or use of the website after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of those changes.
Our store is hosted on Shopify, which provides us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.
These Terms of Service are governed by Belgian law and do not override any mandatory statutory consumer rights you may have.
SECTION 1 – TERMS OF USE OF THE ONLINE STORE
By agreeing to these Terms of Service, you represent that you are of the age of majority in your country, region or state, and that you have given permission to any of your minor dependents to use this site.
You agree not to use our products for any illegal or unauthorised purpose, nor to violate any laws in your jurisdiction in the use of the Service, including but not limited to copyright law.
It is prohibited to transmit any computer worm, virus or any code of a destructive nature.
Any breach or violation of these Terms will result in immediate termination of your Services.
SECTION 2 – GENERAL CONDITIONS
We reserve the right to refuse service to anyone, for any legitimate reason.
You understand that your content (not including payment card information) may be transferred unencrypted, including (a) transmissions over multiple networks and (b) changes to conform and adapt to technical requirements of networks or devices. Payment card information is always encrypted when transferred over networks.
You agree not to reproduce, duplicate, copy, sell, resell or exploit any portion of the Service, or access to the Service, without our express written permission.
The headings used in this agreement are included for convenience only and will not limit or otherwise affect these Terms.
SECTION 3 – SHIPPING COSTS
Carriers apply transportation fees based on the destination country and the weight of the items. Shipping costs are calculated and displayed automatically at checkout after selecting the destination country.
SECTION 4 – TRACKING
All orders dispatched by FrenchBeautyHub are linked to a tracking code, which is sent by email when your order ships. Tracking is provided by FedEx, UPS, or the 17track platform, enabling tracking for over 170 registered carriers. As an exception, some destination countries do not guarantee comprehensive tracking. We explicitly indicate such cases at checkout, marked as “No tracking” under the shipping method option.
If tracking information appears incomplete and the shipping method is standard, you can also track the order on the “track & trace” page of the destination country's postal service, using the number provided in the shipment confirmation email.
SECTION 5 – DUTIES AND TAXES
When shipped to third countries, non-EU European countries, or territories benefiting from a special tax context (such as the Canary Islands), orders may be selected by customs and/or health authorities for inspection. Duties and taxes are the responsibility of the customer. If customs duties are applied to the order, the value of the import tax may be calculated based on the combined value of the products and shipping fees.
In certain destinations, additional taxes may be charged. These amounts are the customer's responsibility and should be verified by them, considering the order value and product type.
SECTION 6 – CUSTOMS CLEARANCE IN THE DESTINATION COUNTRY
All products available through FrenchBeautyHub have obtained market and consumption authorisation in Belgium. It is the customer's responsibility to verify whether their country has laws prohibiting the importation of specific products or substances.
Where the entry of products is prohibited, two scenarios may occur:
- Automatic return at customs: when a product is automatically returned upon arrival at the customs of the destination country due to a lack of entry authorisation, the reimbursement for the product value will be issued in the form of a voucher, net of transportation fees, potential taxes, and customs-related return costs.
- Express courier shipments: for express courier shipments without entry authorisation in the destination country, the customer will be invoiced for the return transportation costs to the origin, as well as all import and customs clearance expenses associated with the return. The customer will receive a voucher reflecting the product value, minus the total return costs. We will always seek the customer's preference between returning the products or opting for abandonment and destruction of the merchandise. In some destinations this may not be feasible, as the order is automatically returned to the sender. In such cases, the customer is responsible for the entirety of the return costs.
SECTION 7 – DELIVERY TIME
FrenchBeautyHub ships its products worldwide from Belgium. The delivery time after dispatch depends on the destination country and the chosen shipping method. The estimated delivery time is indicated at checkout and confirmed in the shipment confirmation email. This period does not include the time during which the customs of the destination country holds the order for inspection.
Orders are handed over to carriers within 48 to 72 hours after payment confirmation. This timeframe may be altered in exceptional situations, such as the need for payment review or if a product is out of stock. In such cases, the customer is contacted immediately and a solution is provided. The customer always has the option to cancel the order.
Delivery times may vary from estimates during exceptional periods of increased e-commerce activity (for example Black Friday, Christmas, and holidays). We recommend planning purchases accordingly.
Carriers do not allow the scheduling of a specific delivery time. It is therefore essential to provide a correct address that is accessible during business hours.
For deliveries without tracking, or for orders with tracking but lacking updated delivery status, if the destination postal company declares the order as lost, we offer either reshipment or a full refund.
We deliver in standard quantities for personal consumption only. In specific cases (especially during discounts or promotions), we reserve the right to determine a maximum quantity, or to adjust handling, shipping and delivery times.
All product prices, including discounted or promotional prices, are valid until further notice or while supplies last.
SECTION 8 – CANCELLATION POLICY
All orders are processed and dispatched on the business days of the Belgian national calendar. Infrequent exceptions may arise, in which case your order will be dispatched at the earliest opportunity.
If you wish to cancel your order before it ships from our warehouse, contact our customer service immediately at contact@frenchbeautyhub.com, specifying your order number.
Once the order is dispatched, some carriers allow cancellation of delivery:
– Orders shipped by Standard/EMS service: it is not possible to cancel delivery once the order has been dispatched.
– Orders shipped by UPS or FedEx: it is possible to cancel delivery as long as no delivery attempt has been made. Please contact the carrier directly. If cancellation is no longer possible, you may refuse delivery or, if accepted, return the order at your expense. Note that in the case of express shipments, refusing and returning an order incurs return fees. Our team will assist you through this process.
Cancellations on our part may occur in the following situations: where orders show substantial evidence of fraud, FrenchBeautyHub reserves the right to cancel and refund such orders in the interest of protecting all parties involved; where the ordered quantity is exceptionally high and exceeds standard quantities for personal consumption; and where items are out of stock. In all cases, the customer is informed and refunded.
SECTION 9 – RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL AND RETURNS
Consumers resident in the European Union have a statutory right of withdrawal of 14 days from receipt of the order. In accordance with Article VI.53 of the Belgian Code of Economic Law, this right does not apply to sealed cosmetic or hygiene products that have been unsealed after delivery, for reasons of health protection and hygiene.

SECTION 10 – APPLICABLE LAW AND DISPUTES
These Terms of Service and any separate agreements whereby we provide you Services shall be governed by and construed in accordance with Belgian law. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Brussels, without prejudice to the mandatory rights of consumers resident in the European Union.
Consumers resident in the European Union may also submit a complaint through the European Commission's Online Dispute Resolution platform.

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to update, change or replace any part of these Terms of Service by posting updates to our website.
