Kérastase Genesis Défense Thermique is a multi-purpose fortifying heat protector for weakened, breakage-prone hair. Applied before blow-drying or using hot tools, it protects hair from high styling temperatures while it detangles, moisturizes without weighing hair down and controls frizz. It also seals split ends, so the ends look softer and shinier, and leaves the fibre stronger and more resilient to breakage. The formula is built around three key ingredients: ginger root extract, which helps protect hair from daily aggressors, Edelweiss native cells, known for their antioxidant action, and xylose-based actives that help protect the fibre from heat damage such as dryness and breakage.

The texture

A light, milky fluid that spreads easily through towel-dried hair. It melts in without leaving residue or a greasy feel, so even fine hair keeps its movement. Once dried, hair feels smooth, supple and easy to brush, with a soft shine on the ends and a light, fresh scent.
