A lifting-effect day cream with a soft, powdery finish

Nuxe Merveillance Lift Powdery Cream is a firming day cream for normal to combination skin showing the first established wrinkles and a loss of firmness, typically from around 40. It has a lifting effect on the face, neck and décolleté, helping to tighten the features while it fills in the look of wrinkles. Its formula is built around two marine extracts: wakame, an algae valued for its antioxidant action, and Chlorella vulgaris, a green micro-algae rich in proteins, vitamins and minerals that nourish the skin. Squalane, macadamia oil and sunflower oil add comfort without heaviness, and a peptide completes the smoothing action. The result is firmer-looking, smoother skin with a velvety, matte finish that is pleasant under makeup.

The texture

A light cream that melts into the skin and dries to a soft, powdery, non-shiny finish, so combination skin does not look greasy by midday. It has the floral Merveillance fragrance, and it works well as a base under foundation or tinted cream.

Worth knowing before you buy: The cream contains fragrance and several fragrance allergens (linalool, geraniol, citronellol, limonene). Very dry skin will prefer a richer cream from the range, such as the concentrated night cream used in the evening. It has no SPF, so add a sunscreen during the day.
