For braces & brackets

A toothbrush shaped to clean carefully around braces and brackets

elmex Anti-Caries Ortho Orthodontic Toothbrush is a toothbrush designed for people wearing braces, with a V-shaped bristle cut that fits around brackets and wires to clean the tooth surface both above and below them. Cleaning well around orthodontic hardware is harder with a standard brush, and this shape is built specifically to make that daily task easier.

Design and bristles

A V-shaped trim of soft to medium bristles that wraps around brackets and wires, reaching the tooth surface on both sides of the hardware.

Who it suits

  • Anyone currently wearing fixed dental braces
  • People struggling to keep the area around brackets clean with a normal brush
  • Orthodontic patients wanting to reduce plaque build-up around wires

Worth knowing before you buy: Replace the brush head every two to three months, or sooner if the bristles start to splay.
