A tinted mineral sunscreen that controls shine and evens the complexion

Bioderma Photoderm Nude Touch SPF50+ is a very high protection tinted sunscreen for combination to oily skin, with or without blemishes. It relies on 100% mineral filters, zinc oxide and titanium dioxide, for broad UVA and UVB protection, while iron oxide pigments add protection against visible light and give a light, natural coverage that evens out the complexion. Bioderma adds its Fluidactiv patent and capryloyl glycine to regulate excess sebum, plus salicylic acid to refine skin texture, so the face stays matte and shine-free for hours. Ectoin, from the Cellular Bioprotection technology, strengthens the skin's own defences against sun damage. Its liquid-to-powder texture sets to a dry, velvety finish, and it resists water, heat and humidity.

The texture

A fluid tint that turns to powder as it spreads, leaving a dry touch and a soft-focus, velvety matte finish. It gives light coverage that blurs redness, visible pores and uneven tone without looking like makeup, and it can replace a primer or light foundation on busy days. It is fragrance-free, non-comedogenic and stays matte for up to eight hours.

Worth knowing before you buy: This is a tinted mineral formula, so choose your shade carefully: Light suits fair to light skin, Golden suits medium skin. Shake well before each use so the pigments and filters are evenly mixed. On dry skin, the powdery finish can emphasise flaky patches; a hydrating sunscreen will feel more comfortable there. Remove it in the evening with a proper cleanser, as mineral filters cling to the skin.

How long one tube lasts

Used every morning on the face and neck, the 40ml tube lasts about four to six weeks. On beach or hiking days you will need more, as SPF must be applied generously (about a teaspoon for face and neck) and reapplied every two hours.

How to use
