A313 Vitamin A Pommade is a vitamin A ointment for dry, rough or irritated skin, and one of the best-known French pharmacy classics. Each 100g contains 200,000 IU of synthetic vitamin A in an oily form, in a short, fragrance-free base of macrogols and polysorbate 80 that melts on contact with the skin. Registered as a medicine in France for irritated skin, it helps the skin surface recover and feel softer and smoother. Many people also use it as a budget vitamin A night care, in a thin layer a few nights a week.

The texture

A thick, slightly sticky ointment that melts on contact with the skin. It stays on the surface for a while before settling, so it is best used at night. A very small amount is enough: too much feels greasy and raises the chance of irritation.

How to use
