A travel-size micellar lotion for sensitive skin

Avène My Essentials Micellar Lotion is a micellar cleansing lotion for sensitive skin from Avène, made to remove makeup and daily impurities from face and eyes in one step. It is part of the My Essentials line and is formulated with Avène Thermal Spring Water, and this 100ml bottle is the smallest of the three sizes.

How it works

Micelles are tiny cleansing particles that lift dirt and makeup without a harsh rub. Soak a cotton pad, wipe over face and eyes, and the skin is ready for the next step.

Who it suits

  • Sensitive skin that dislikes foaming cleansers
  • Anyone who wants a quick evening makeup remover
  • People who cleanse away from a sink, at the gym or while travelling
  • Skin that feels tight after soap and water

Worth knowing before you buy: A micellar lotion removes makeup and light dirt, but waterproof makeup and sunscreen may need a second cleanse or a dedicated remover.

Which size to choose

The 100ml bottle fits hand luggage and gym bags. For daily cleansing at home, the 200ml or 400ml sizes are better value.
