A two-phase sun water that protects your skin while it tans

Bioderma Photoderm Bronz Sun Water SPF30 is a biphasic sun protection water for adults who want a deeper, more even tan while staying protected. It is made for the face, body and hair, and suits all skin types, including sensitive skin. Its SPF30 formula includes Sun Active Defense, Bioderma's patented system that reinforces protection against UVA rays and supports the skin's own defences against the sun. To help the tan along, the Bronz Complex, with acetyl tyrosine and copper, encourages melanin production, and annatto seed extract adds to this effect. The result is a golden, even tan with the protection of a real sunscreen. It resists water, sweat and sand, and can be applied to wet skin.

The texture

Two phases, one oily and one watery, that you mix by shaking the bottle. Sprayed on, it feels fresh and light, spreads in seconds and leaves a satin, dry-touch finish with no greasy residue. It has a light summer scent and works on damp skin straight out of the pool or the sea.

Worth knowing before you buy: SPF30 is a high protection, but it is not the right level for very fair skin, children, or strong midday sun. In those cases choose an SPF50+ product such as the Photoderm Spray SPF50+. The formula also contains fragrance.

How long one bottle lasts

A full-body application takes about 30ml, the amount needed to reach the SPF shown on the label. The 200ml bottle gives around six full applications, so one adult will use about one bottle per week at the beach.

How to use

Shake well to mix the two phases. Spray generously and evenly over the face, body and hair before sun exposure, on dry or wet skin, then spread. Reapply often, especially after swimming, sweating or towelling off. Avoid spraying directly on the face: spray into your hands first. Do not stay too long in the sun, even with a sunscreen.
