Kneipp Massage Nourishing Oil Ylang-ylang 100ml brings together ylang-ylang essential oil, from a tree native to the Western Pacific, and two precious vegetable oils: jojoba and sweet almond. The texture is fluid, so it spreads easily and penetrates slowly - which is what you want from a massage oil rather than one that disappears in thirty seconds. Sweet almond oil does the nourishing and protective work, while the dry-oil finish leaves a veil instead of a greasy slick. It is colourant-free, preservative-free and made without mineral oils, with skin tolerance proven by dermatological tests.

Ylang-ylang and precious vegetable oils

The blend is deliberately short: ylang-ylang essential oil for the exotic, sensual scent, and jojoba and sweet almond oils as the carriers. Sweet almond oil is the one to know - it is recognised for its nourishing and protective properties, and it makes up the bulk of what stays on the skin. The result is a warm floral oil that works as much for the smell as for the feel.
