An at-home peel in a night cream for brighter, smoother skin

Isispharma Glyco-A Medium Peeling is a glycolic acid night cream for oily, blemish-prone skin and the first signs of ageing. Its 12% glycolic acid at pH 3 works like a gentle at-home peel: it loosens dead cells, helps clear pores and encourages skin renewal. Used two to three evenings a week, it leaves the complexion brighter and smoother, with less visible shine and fewer blemishes. It sits between the Soft and Intense (25%) versions of the Glyco-A range.

The texture

A light, white cream that spreads thinly and is left on overnight, no rinsing needed. A mild tingling for a few minutes is normal with glycolic acid. It has no added fragrance.

Who it suits

  • Oily skin with enlarged pores and excess shine
  • Skin prone to blackheads and blemishes
  • Dull skin with uneven texture
  • First fine lines on normal to oily skin

Worth knowing before you buy: this is a strong acid. It is not suitable for sensitive or sensitised skin, during pregnancy, or for children under 12. Use a high SPF during use and for a week after, avoid the eye area, and stop if tingling lasts more than ten minutes. A 24-hour patch test before first use is advised.

How long one tube lasts

Used thinly two to three evenings a week on the face, the 30ml tube lasts around two months.

How to use

In the evening only, 2 to 3 times a week, apply a thin layer to the whole face after thorough cleansing and massage gently. Avoid the eye area. Leave on overnight. Do not use within 72 hours of hair removal on the face, and apply a high SPF every morning during use and for a week after.
