La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVMune 400 Hydrating Cream Fragrance-Free SPF50+ is a high-protection sunscreen for dry, very dry and sensitive skin. Its improved formula is built around Mexoryl 400, a filter approved in Europe that covers ultra-long UVA up to 400nm, the part of the spectrum most sunscreens sold in the United States don't reach, combined with other filters for broad UVB and UVA protection. Netlock technology makes the hypoallergenic, invisible cream resistant to water, sweat and sand without a greasy or sticky feel, and keeps it from migrating into the eyes. Vitamin E and glycerin keep the skin hydrated and help protect it against free radicals and oxidative stress.

The texture

A soft cream that spreads easily and leaves skin comfortable, not shiny. It feels closer to a day cream than a sunscreen, which is why people with dry skin often use it on its own in the morning, with no moisturiser underneath. Netlock technology forms an even film that resists water, sweat and sand, and keeps the cream from running into the eyes.

How to use

Apply generously every morning as the last step of your skincare routine, before makeup. Use about a teaspoon for face and neck: most people under-apply, which lowers the protection you actually get. Reapply every 2 hours when outdoors, and after swimming, sweating or towelling off.
