Vichy Dercos Anti-Dandruff DS Shampoo for Normal to Oily Hair is an anti-dandruff shampoo for normal to oily hair that works on one of the root causes of dandruff: an unbalanced scalp microbiome. Its two actives work together. Selenium DS (1% selenium sulfide) has antifungal properties and helps rebalance the scalp microbiome, acting on flakes, itching and discomfort at the same time, while 1% salicylic acid loosens and removes visible flakes. In clinical tests, visible dandruff flakes were eliminated from the first use, with an anti-recurrence effect lasting up to six weeks after a four-week treatment. The scalp feels soothed and clean. The hypoallergenic formula has been tested on sensitive scalps.

The texture

An orange, creamy shampoo that lathers generously and rinses out cleanly. It has a fresh, pleasant scent with a hint of menthol that leaves the scalp feeling cool, and hair feels light and clean rather than weighed down, which suits roots that get greasy quickly.

How long one bottle lasts

At three washes a week, a 200ml bottle covers the four-week treatment phase for short to medium hair. Longer hair will need a little more product each wash. The 390ml bottle and refill cover the treatment and several months of weekly maintenance.
