A chewable solid toothpaste tablet for a plastic-tube-free brushing routine

Elgydium Solid Toothpaste Fresh Mint is a toothpaste in solid tablet form rather than a paste in a tube, meant for anyone wanting to cut down on plastic packaging or travel without liquids. Chewing releases a fresh mint paste that works with a wet toothbrush the same way a regular toothpaste would.

The texture

A firm tablet that crumbles into a foaming, minty paste as soon as you chew and brush.

Who it suits

  • Anyone wanting to reduce single-use plastic tubes
  • Travel, especially with liquid restrictions
  • People curious about a solid toothpaste format

Worth knowing before you buy: The texture and routine take a little getting used to compared with a squeeze tube; chew fully before brushing so the tablet breaks down evenly.
