The bond-building primer that makes No. 3 work harder on damaged hair

Olaplex No. 0 Intensive Bond Building Hair Treatment is an at-home bond-building primer for damaged hair, used right before OLAPLEX No. 3 Hair Perfector. It helps repair hair weakened by colouring, bleaching, heat styling, brushing and the environment. Its patented OLAPLEX Bond Building Technology uses a single active molecule, bis-aminopropyl diglycol dimaleate, to relink broken disulfide bonds, the bonds that give hair its strength and structure. Used together with No. 3, the brand reports 68% more repair and hair that is three times stronger, with less breakage, frizz and dullness.

How it works

A watery, lightweight liquid in a spray nozzle bottle. It is sprayed onto dry hair to saturate it, left on for 10 minutes, then No. 3 is applied on top without rinsing. It has no noticeable scent.

Used once a week on shoulder-length hair, a 155ml bottle lasts about 3 to 4 months. Long or thick hair uses more per treatment.

How to use

Spray onto dry hair until fully saturated and leave on for 10 minutes. Without rinsing, apply OLAPLEX No. 3 on top and leave on for at least 10 minutes more. Rinse, then shampoo and condition. Use 1 to 3 times a week.
