A soft body scrub that smooths without scratching

Avène Body Gentle Scrub is a creamy body exfoliant for sensitive skin that wants a smoother feel without harsh grains. It works in two ways: fine cellulose particles lift away dead cells, while a mild cleansing base washes off impurities. Avène Thermal Spring Water comes first in the formula to soothe, and shea, camelina and safflower oils leave skin soft rather than tight. Used once or twice a week, it leaves the body smoother and ready for moisturiser.

The texture

A pink, creamy gel with small, soft particles. It glides on damp skin, lathers lightly and rinses off cleanly, without an oily film. It has a light scent.

Worth knowing before you buy: this scrub contains fragrance and sodium laureth sulfate. It is too much for daily use and not meant for broken, sunburned or eczema-prone patches. If your skin is very dry or atopic, stick to a nourishing wash and a balm instead.
