A pure-retinol night serum for smoother, more even skin

SVR Ampoule [A] Lift Smoothing Concentrate is a resurfacing, anti-wrinkle retinol serum for adults who want to smooth wrinkles, refine skin texture and even out the complexion. Its improved formula combines 0.3% pure retinol with 2% Novoretin, a plant-based active from mastic gum that boosts the visible effects of retinol. Niacinamide and skin-identical lipids (glycolipids and glycosphingolipids) help strengthen the skin barrier, so the skin copes better with retinol. SVR reports smoother skin, finer-looking pores and a more even tone within seven days.

How it works

A milky, slightly silky serum in a dropper bottle. Two to three drops are enough for the whole face; it absorbs quickly and leaves a soft finish that layers easily under a moisturiser. Retinol works best at night, and the skin needs a few weeks to get used to it, which is why the brand recommends building up gradually.

Who it suits

  • Fine lines, wrinkles and loss of smoothness
  • Uneven skin texture, visible pores and marks left by blemishes
  • A dull, uneven complexion
  • First-time retinol users who start slowly

Worth knowing before you buy: retinol can cause dryness, tingling or peeling at first. Start every third night, avoid the eye contour and wear an SPF50 every morning. Retinol is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding. Very sensitive or reactive skin may prefer the gentler [B3] Hydra ampoule.

How long one bottle lasts

At two to three drops every night, the 30ml bottle lasts about two to three months; used every other night while your skin adjusts, even longer.
