Eucerin Sun Allergy Protect Gel-Cream SPF50+ is a very high protection face and body sunscreen for sensitive skin prone to sun allergies and sun intolerance, sold in France as Sun LEB Protect. Its filter system protects against both UVB and UVA rays and also shields the skin from visible light and oxidative stress. Two antioxidants do the extra work: Glucosylrutin, which helps neutralise the free radicals created by UV exposure, and Licochalcone A, a licorice root extract that soothes and reduces redness. Together they strengthen the skin's own protection system and help significantly reduce the risk of sun-induced allergic reactions. The gel-cream absorbs quickly, is water resistant and complies with the Hawaii Reef Bill. It is suitable for teenagers from 12 and adults.

The texture

A fresh gel-cream that spreads easily over large areas and sinks in fast. It leaves no greasy or sticky film, which makes it pleasant on the body in the heat, and there is no added fragrance. Skin feels light and comfortable, even after reapplying. Because it dries quickly, you can get dressed shortly after applying it.

How long one tube lasts

A full-body application takes about 30ml to reach the SPF on the label. The 150ml tube gives around five full applications, so plan on one tube for three or four beach days, or longer if you only protect the face, neck, arms and chest.

How to use

Apply generously and evenly to the face and body before sun exposure. Reapply frequently, especially after swimming, sweating or towelling off. Start using it from the first day of exposure. Avoid contact with the eyes and do not stay too long in the sun, even with a sunscreen.
