La Roche-Posay Anthelios UVAir Vitamin Sun Stick SPF50+ is a very high protection sun stick for all skin types, including sensitive skin and skin prone to sun allergy. Its filters give broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection (SPF50+ and PA++++), while vitamin E and astaxanthin, an antioxidant from microalgae, help defend the skin against oxidative stress caused by UV and pollution. The balm glides on with a nourishing, comfortable feel and a luminous finish that stays invisible on every skin tone. It resists sweat, water and sand, and the retractable format makes reapplying easy, even over makeup or on wet skin.

The texture

An anhydrous, oil-based balm stick that melts on contact with the skin. It leaves a subtle glow rather than a matte finish, with no white cast on light or deep skin. There is no alcohol, so it feels comfortable on dry or sun-sensitised areas, and it has a light scent. The compact size fits a pocket, gym bag or beach bag.

How to get the most from it

Glide it three or four times over each area rather than a single swipe, so enough product is applied. Reapply every two hours in the sun and after swimming or towelling.

How to use

Apply generously to all exposed areas of the face, going over each area several times. Reapply regularly, especially after swimming, sweating or towel drying, and every two hours during prolonged sun exposure.
