Herbatint Permanent Hair Colour Treatment is a permanent dye that does its work without ammonia and still covers white hair from the very first use. It comes as a colour gel you mix in equal parts with the glycol developer, with plant extracts worked into the formula - aloe, echinacea, witch hazel, birch and meadowfoam among them. Each shade family has a specific job rather than being a simple colour choice. It is dermatologically tested and formulated without ammonia, parabens, resorcinol, alcohol or perfume, which is rare for a permanent dye on the American shelf.

How to use

Herbatint is applied to unwashed dry hair, and works on both pre-coloured hair and natural, non-coloured hair. Mix the Herbatint plant extracts colour gel and the glycol developer in equal parts. Allow 40 minutes if the hair has never been treated with tints or a perm. On hair already treated (coloured or permed), apply a certain amount of the Herbatint mixture on the roots, let it act 30 minutes, then apply the remaining mixture over the whole of the hair and let it act a further 10 minutes before rinsing.
