A balm-to-oil that calms itching and rebuilds very dry, atopy-prone skin

Uriage Xémose C8+ Oleo-Soothing Anti-Scratch Balm is a nourishing balm for very dry, atopy-prone skin that gives relief from the first application. Its formula addresses the three weakened barriers of atopic skin. The new C8+ technology brings eight biomimetic ceramides that increase the amount and diversity of ceramides in the skin, and together with 10% shea butter and illipe butter it restores the physical barrier. Two Uriage patents, TLR2-REGUL and Chronoxine, act on the immunological barrier to limit the urge to scratch, and the formula also supports a more diverse skin microbiome. Severe dryness, rough patches and itching are visibly reduced, with a 48-hour anti-recurrence action.

The texture

A balm that melts into an oil on contact with the skin. It absorbs quickly and leaves a non-greasy, non-sticky finish. It is fragrance-free.
