A pH 4.5 mask for white and lightened hair that should stay bright

Schwarzkopf Professional BC Bonacure pH 4.5 Color Freeze Mask White and Lightened Hair is a rinse-out treatment mask for white and lightened hair from the Color Freeze line of BC Bonacure. The range is made at pH 4.5 to keep the hair cuticle closed, and this version is aimed at hair that has been lightened or has turned white, where dullness and yellowing show up quickly. The tube is 200ml.

The texture

A smooth, creamy mask that spreads evenly through wet hair. It is designed as a regular step, so it rinses out cleanly and does not leave a heavy film.

Who it suits

  • White or grey hair that looks dull or yellow
  • Bleached or lightened hair that needs colour care
  • Anyone with a pale shade who wants a matching routine
  • People who already use the Color Freeze white and lightened shampoo

Worth knowing before you buy: Colour-care masks help maintain the look of pale shades but cannot lift or change colour. For a stronger toning effect, use a dedicated neutralising product.
