A fluoride gel that eases the step up from a kids' toothpaste

Elgydium Junior Gel Toothpaste is a fluoride gel toothpaste for children aged 7 to 12, made to ease the switch from a milk-teeth toothpaste to an adult one. Fluorinol, paired with chitosan, helps protect growing teeth against cavities and keeps fluoride on the enamel.

The texture

A smooth gel with a mild mint taste that foams lightly and rinses away easily.

Who it suits

  • Children aged 7 to 12
  • Kids stepping up from a milk-teeth toothpaste
  • A gentler flavour than fruit-flavoured kids gels

Worth knowing before you buy: Supervise brushing so the child spits out rather than swallows. From age 12, move on to an adult toothpaste such as Elgydium Multi-Action.

How long one tube lasts

With a pea-sized amount twice a day, the 50ml tube lasts about six weeks.
