A pure green clay powder for DIY face masks and body poultices

Naturado Green Clay Surfine Montmorillonite is a very fine, ready-to-use green clay powder for the face, body and hair. It is made of montmorillonite, a clay with a high cation exchange capacity (80 meq/100g according to Naturado), which means it readily absorbs excess sebum and impurities. It is also rich in minerals such as magnesium, potassium and iron. Mixed with water, it becomes a smooth paste for purifying face masks and traditional clay poultices, with nothing added: no fragrance, colouring or preservative.

The texture

A soft, surfine green powder. Mixed with the same volume of water, it turns into a smooth, creamy paste that is easy to spread and dries to a matte finish.

How to use

Mix one volume of clay with one volume of water in a non-metallic bowl and let it rest for 5 minutes without stirring. For a face mask, apply a layer to clean skin, avoiding the eyes, and rinse after about 10 minutes before it fully dries. For a body poultice, apply a layer about 1 cm thick and leave on for 30 minutes to 1 hour, then rinse.
