A clear antiseptic gel from the French family first-aid kit

Hexomedine 0.1% Gel is an antiseptic gel for skin application, used as a local complementary care for skin conditions that are infected or at risk of becoming infected. Its active substance, hexamidine diisethionate, belongs to the diamidine family of antiseptics, a long-standing choice in French pharmacies. The gel form stays where you put it, so it can be applied in a thin layer and left in the open air, or in a thicker layer under a protective dressing. It is registered as a medicine in France by Coopération Pharmaceutique Française.

The texture

A clear, slightly fluid gel made with hydroxyethylcellulose, water and ethanol. It spreads easily without rubbing and dries quickly into a light, non-greasy film. It has no added fragrance.

How to use

For external use on the skin only. Do not swallow. Apply 2 to 3 times a day, in a thin layer left in the open air or in a thick layer under a protective dressing. Maximum treatment duration: 5 days.
