One side is textured for the exfoliating sweep, the other is smooth to finish like a toner. The essence combines plant-derived AHAs and BHAs, niacinamide and centella asiatica, so you get resurfacing and barrier support at once. The woven cotton pads are soaked in active essence rather than simply damp. How to use

Apply the embossed side of the pad gently over the entire face, morning or evening, on clean, dry skin. Then use the smooth side. Use daily to gently exfoliate the skin.
