A slim dental floss for tight spaces between teeth

GUM Slim Floss is a dental floss from GUM designed to be thin enough to pass between teeth that are close together. Each reel holds 30 metres, which is enough for several weeks of daily flossing.

How it works

You pull off a length of floss, wrap it around your fingers and slide it gently between two teeth, then curve it around each tooth in a C shape and move it up and down. A slim thread is easier to pass through tight contacts than a thick tape.

Who it suits

  • People with teeth that sit close together
  • Anyone who finds thicker floss shreds or gets stuck
  • Daily flossing at home
  • Adults who want to add an interdental step

Worth knowing before you buy: if your gums bleed slightly when you begin flossing regularly, go gently and keep at it. Never force the floss down between teeth.
