A balm-rich cream that puts lipids back into very dry skin

La Roche-Posay Nutritic Intense Rich is a nourishing, regenerating cream for sensitive, dry to very dry facial skin. Its balm-like texture restores the lipids missing from all layers of the epidermis, bringing back comfort and elasticity while soothing the feeling of tightness. The formula is built around MP-Lipids, a new generation of lipids that support the skin's own production of moisturising factors, lipids and proteins, together with shea butter, glycerin and niacinamide. Skin feels softer, more supple and comfortable again. In the brand's tests, 90% said irritation was soothed, 84% said skin was less dry and 81% said tightness was reduced.

The texture

A thick, rich cream with the feel of a nourishing balm. It melts as you warm it between your fingers and leaves a comforting, slightly satiny film rather than a matte finish, which is what very dry skin usually wants.
