Hexicid Antiseptic Spray 50ml (1.69fl oz) is a ready-to-use antiseptic solution in a spray bottle, combining three antiseptic agents: chlorhexidine, benzalkonium chloride and benzyl alcohol. Registered as a medicine in France, it is indicated on its leaflet for the antisepsis of small superficial wounds such as cuts and grazes. It is sprayed directly onto the wound, needs no rinsing, and the 50ml bottle fits easily in a first-aid kit or a bag.

The texture

A clear, fluid solution delivered as a fine spray, so the wound can be treated without touching it with a cotton pad. It does not need to be rinsed off after application.

Worth knowing before you buy: for external use on the skin only. Do not spray near the eyes, ears, mouth or on mucous membranes, and rinse immediately with water in case of contact with the eyes. Do not use on large areas, under an occlusive dressing or on deep burns. Use with caution in newborns, especially premature babies, as it can cause chemical skin burns. Do not use if you are allergic to chlorhexidine or quaternary ammoniums.

How to use
