Traditional Tahitian monoï with golden flecks that make a tan glow

Hei Poa Pur Monoï Tiaré Nacres Or is a traditional Monoï de Tahiti (Appellation d'Origine) enriched with golden pearly particles, made to illuminate the body and hair. The base is coconut oil in which Tahitian tiaré flowers are macerated, which nourishes and softens the skin and gives the famous warm, floral scent. Fine mica and iron oxide flecks catch the light for a satiny, golden shimmer. In summer it enhances a tan, and all year it adds glow to legs, shoulders and hair ends.

The texture

A light oil with suspended golden flecks. Below 24°C, monoï naturally turns solid and white: warm the bottle under hot water or in your hands and it becomes liquid again. It spreads easily, absorbs fairly quickly and leaves a satin finish with visible shimmer.

Worth knowing before you buy: this oil contains no UV filters, so it is not a sunscreen. It is fragranced and contains allergens such as linalool, geraniol and citral. The shimmer can transfer onto light clothes.

A few drops cover both legs. Used a few times a week, the 100ml bottle lasts a full summer season.

How to use

Warm the bottle under hot water if the monoï has solidified. Apply a small amount to the body, especially décolleté, shoulders and legs, and massage lightly. On hair, smooth a few drops over the lengths and ends. Not suitable as sun protection.
