It runs at physiological pH, is 0% soap, and contains a minimum of 95% ingredients of natural origin. The foam is light and creamy and carries a fruity fragrance. A soap-free base with plant glycerine

The cleansing base is the point of this one. It is soap-free and enriched with plant glycerine, a humectant that holds water in the skin, so it cleans while preserving the skin's balance. Because it is formulated at physiological pH rather than the alkaline pH of a true soap, it suits frequent use and all skin types, and it is gentle enough to use on the face as well as the body. It is also worth knowing that the surfactant is sodium lauryl sulfate: soap-free and pH-balanced it certainly is, but it is not a sulfate-free wash, and very reactive skin may find it too much for the face.
