Single ingredient

Plain sodium bicarbonate for the bathroom cabinet, one simple use at a time

Gilbert Sodium Bicarbonate is a fine, pure sodium bicarbonate (baking soda) powder in pharmacy-grade quality. It's a French medicine-cabinet basic, used as a gentle mouth rinse for minor mouth irritation, dissolved in water as a soothing gargle, or added to a foot or hand bath to soften skin. Because it is a single ingredient with no additives, it's easy to dose and combine with other products at home.

The texture

A fine white powder that dissolves completely in warm water, leaving no residue.

Who it suits

  • Anyone wanting a plain sodium bicarbonate for mouth rinses or foot baths
  • People who prefer single-ingredient basics over ready-made formulas
  • Households already using Gilbert's other simple pharmacy staples
  • Use in a diluted solution, never applied directly and undiluted to skin

Worth knowing before you buy: This is a plain chemical powder, not a cosmetic formula on its own; always dilute in water before use and keep away from eyes.
