Bausch+Lomb Bloxang Hemostatic Sponge is a small absorbable sponge for minor bleeding in the mouth, most often used after a tooth extraction. Placed against the bleeding socket, it helps a blood clot form and stay in place while the gum starts to heal, and the pack contains 4 individually usable sponges.

How it works

The sponge is placed directly on the bleeding site and held with light bite pressure. Its structure helps blood clot within it, forming a stable plug over the wound, and it is designed to be left in place once bleeding has slowed rather than removed.

How to use
