Beauty of Joseon Radiance Cleansing Balm is an oil-based cleansing balm for all skin types and the first step of a double cleanse. Its soft sherbet texture melts on contact to dissolve make-up, sunscreen and sebum, including mascara, eyeliner and lip colour, without stinging the eyes. Inspired by traditional Korean beauty, it contains rice bran oil and several grain extracts that moisturize, so the skin never feels stripped or tight.

The texture

A solid, sherbet-like balm that stays stable in a warm, humid bathroom, then turns into an oil when massaged onto dry skin. It emulsifies into a milk with water and rinses clean.

How to use

Take a coin-sized amount with the spatula and massage onto dry skin, including the eyes and lips. Add a little water to emulsify, then rinse thoroughly with lukewarm water. Follow with a water-based cleanser if you like.
